In case of emergency, use the stairs and not the elevator to exit; walk to the north side of the Police Department and wait for further instructions.

All items under the Consent Agenda are considered routine and will be approved by unanimous consent. There will be no separate discussion of items in this section unless a Council member so requests, at which time the item will be removed and considered at this point on the agenda.
a. A resolution authorizing the City Administration to expend funds for the Riverside Golf Course Sand Bunker Renovation and Equipment Replacement. (File Resolution No. 2026-2411)
b. A resolution authorizing the City Administration to expend funds for the renovation of Peace Park Playground. (File Resolution No. 2026-2412)
c. Consideration and action on a proposed resolution authorizing the City Administration to expend funds to purchase two solid waste collection vehicles. (File Resolution No. 2026-2417)
d. Consideration and action on a proposed resolution authorizing the City Administration to expend funds to conduct a study and condition assessment of the IT room dedicated HVAC system.
e. Consideration and action on a proposed resolution in commendation of Jane E. Burr for her more than 26 years of service to the City of Janesville. (Resolution No. 2026-2415)
f. Consideration and action on a proposed resolution in commendation of Michelle Wilson-Smith for her more than 22 years of service to the City of Janesville. (Resolution No. 2026-2414)

7. Old Business
a. Second reading and public hearing on a proposed “ordinance referring approval of proposed development projects or entrance into development agreements exceeding $450 million in project costs, transfer of land, conveyance, or encumbrance of the GM/JATCO site to the electorate” (File Ordinance 2026-926)
